Privacy policy

ServerSelection is an information and reference service for comparing virtual-server plans. We treat visitor data with care and describe here exactly what is collected and why.

What data we process

The site has no sign-up, order or payment forms and collects no personal data — name, phone, address or payment details. Sign-up, ordering and payment happen on the providers’ sites the links lead to and are governed by their own policies.

On each visit, anonymized technical data is processed automatically via Google Analytics and Yandex Metrica: cookies, IP address, browser and device type and version, screen resolution, referrer, pages viewed and on-site actions. This data does not identify you personally and is used in aggregate.

Why we need it

Anonymized statistics help us understand traffic, improve the site and the calculator, and measure the effectiveness of ad campaigns. We do not use this data to make decisions that produce legal effects for a visitor.

Affiliate links

Links to providers’ sites are affiliate links: the service may earn a commission, and the price is the same for you. Once you follow a link, the provider’s own privacy policy applies.

Sharing with third parties

We do not sell or pass visitor data to third parties, except the Google Analytics and Yandex Metrica web-analytics services, which process anonymized data under their own terms. You can review those terms on their sites.

Your rights
